Two of the most infuriatingly un-funny comics appearing in North American news-papers are The Family Circus and Dennis the Menace. These wretched, sugary, single-panel pieces of garbage have been attributed to many unfortunate events — from the shredding of one’s newspaper, to suicide and domestic violence.
Fortunately, The KFS and Studio Rtype have found a way to salvage the strips, merely by swapping the captions exactly as they are and not changing them in any other way!* (Nor do we ever mess with the artwork. Not EVER!*) The result is often bizarre, interesting, and surprisingly humorous. Who would have known that something so simple could relieve such frustration and anger?
To make the matter even more convenient, and to offer a service to those who don’t have access to both comics, we have taken it upon ourselves to present them here, with the captions pre-swapped!
